Santa is making his list and I am making mine. Here is what I have gathered for everything that looks interesting in Elizabethton, Bristol, Kingsport and Johnson City organized by date. I also included a few from Dollywood because it’s worth the trip. You’re welcome. Now go get to Christmasing….
Friends of Sycamore Shoals State Historic Area Carter Mansion Christmas
December 4th at 6PM The Carter Mansion Christmas in Elizabethton. We have done this before (read about it here) and it was awesome! (This does require reservations)
The 2015 Gatlinburg Christmas Parade in Gatlinburg, TN is known as the Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade and features over 100 parade entries of marching bands, floats, helium balloons, performers, and more! The Gatlinburg Christmas Parade 2015 is expected to draw more than 60,000 spectators viewing the parade throughout downtown Gatlinburg, TN.
December 4th at 7:30PM Fantasy in Lights Christmas Parade in Gatlinburg.
13′-6″ is the maximum legal height for a vehicle on the roadway, but most of our signals are in excess of 16′. Having said that, we allow taller vehicles when moving houses, etc. if the mover gets signatures from a list of departments and utilities.
December 5th at 3PM : The Johnson City Christmas Parade
December 5, 2015 @ 7:30 pm The glorious sounds and sights of the season will be a great start to your Christmas festivities as the Milligan Music Department presents its annual Christmas concert. The performance will feature choirs, orchestra, brass choir, and the organ in the beautifully decorated Mary B.
December 5th at 7:30PM : The Christmas Symphony at Milligan College! If you do nothing else you simply must attend! The candle light grand finale is guaranteed to send you home feeling so blessed!
December 5th from 9am to 5pm The Holiday Craft Bazaar at Oak Street Baptist in Elizabethton.
Join the community in our annual celebration to light the Christmas Tree in Historic Church Circle Festivities begin at 5:00pm on Saturday, December 5th,2015. Take complimentary carriage rides throughout our Downtown Streets, Visit Santa Claus in his village at TriSummit Bank, and view beautifully decorated Gingerbread Houses at Regions Bank.
December 5th at 6:30 the Kingsport Tree Lighting and Peace On Earth Concert.

December 12th @ 2PM Tipton Haynes Christmas Visions of Christmas 1865.
Part II and the finally of our celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. Tour the Haynes home and view the end of the war through the eyes of the Haynes family and of citizens of Washington County, Tennessee. Enjoy holiday music, refreshments, and activities/crafts in the Visitor Center for children.
