How To Make Fun Fall Leaf Ballerina’s
Fall leaf crafts can be so much fun to make. Especially when part of the art project is a walk through nature to inspect each and every bright colored leaf you encounter. These fall leaf ballerinas are simple to make and will keep you smiling all season long.

What You Will Need to Make Your Leaf Ballerinas
- Printouts of Ballerina Sketches – Get those here, or you can sketch your own ballerinas.
- A pile of leaves – about ten to fifteen.
How To Make Your Leaf Ballerinas
Print out the ballerinas. (If you want a sturdier print then use 90-pound paper.)
Take a nature walk and collect your leaves.
Clean your leaves by rinsing them with water and then set them out to dry. We leave ours out overnight.
Decide which ones will be your tutu’s and trim off their stems.
Glue on your leaves. *We recommend applying the glue with a paintbrush to be sure you get an even coat.*
Let dry and it is ready to present.
In the past, we have had fun dipping fall leaves in wax, making suncatchers from them, and using them to make prints, but this is my favorite way to play with leaves so far.
Let us know if you make this beautiful ballerina craft. And, if you know of another fall leaf craft that we would enjoy, please share in the comments section below. We love to hear from you!
