National Honey Bee Awareness Day is just around the corner so I thought I would share some of my favorite bee crafts from across the web. I also have a honey bee craft of my own to share with you! Buzzing throughout you will also find some fun facts about bees to share with your little artists.

Honey Bee Crafts For Little Kids
Even little kids can make this adorable bubble wrap beehive with thumbprint bees buzzing all around.
These Yarn Wrapped Cardboard Tube Bee Crafts from Buggy and Buddy are simple and adorable! Grab a toilet paper roll or a paper towel roll trimmed down and transform it into an adorable googly-eyed bee. This is a simple craft that encourages motor skill development and is lots of fun!
These Marshmallow Stamped Bumble Bees from The Pinterested Parent are perhaps the sweetest of all bumblebee crafts! A piece of paper, a little yellow paint, a marker, and a few marshmallows are all you need!
This Bubble Wrap Beehive and Paper Bee Rings Craft from Capturing Parenthood is beautiful and so much fun! Let your kids paint bubble wrap to create the hive texture and then make super fun bee rings so kids can fly their bees from one place to the other. Very cute!
Honey Bee Crafts for Elementary Students + Teens
Bee Rock Painting is a really great craft choice for a Honeybee Awareness craft. Especially if you take the time to get kids outside to collect their own rocks for painting. If you decide to paint them for hiding on trails be sure to use non-toxic paints and sealer.
These Chunky Bumble Bees from The Inspiration Edit are adorable! Grab a wooden circle and some cupcake liners and get started on this adorable craft. For older students, help them turn their bees into magnets by gluing a magnet onto the back! So sweet!
This adorable Pom Pom Bee from Truly Crafts could not be cuter. You only need a Pom Pom Maker, some black and yellow wool, black pipe cleaners. and a small piece of white cardstock. This makes a very large and very sweet bee!
This Golden Honey Bee Slime from Daily Dish is a beautiful way to get your students interested in the wide world of Slime! Perfect for Honeybee Awareness Week this slime is extra beautiful! (Bee sure to use eco-friendly biodegradable glitter.)

Bee Unit Study
