Oreo Cookie Balls Recipe
My husband and son have a great love for Oreo’s. We make an Oreo Cake that never lasts long but we have another Oreo favorite that could not be easier to make. These are always a hit at family dinners or pot lucks. They are fast and delicious. Here is the recipe! Please feel free to share. Everyone chocolate lover should have this on hand.
YOU WILL NEED:
- 8OZ Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 1 Package Oreo Cookies (finely crushed)
- 4 Packages Baker’s semi-sweet chocolate (melted)
Prepare two large cookie sheets by laying wax paper over them. Then crush your cookies until fine. I used my food processor. Mix the cream cheese and 3 cups of cookie crumbs until well blended. Roll into small balls and place on cookie sheets. Melt your chocolate and dip each one. Return to wax paper. Sprinkle with crumbs. Once finished, place trays in refrigerator for an hour. Wa La! Enjoy!
*Store in fridge
*If these are too rich for you add 1/2 cup of Rice Crispies.
