Easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Layer Pie Recipe
A No Bake Pie Anyone Can Bake In Almost No Time At All!
Think Oreo Crust. Add a layer of light fluffy peanut butter whipped deliciousness. And then think thick, heavy chocolate bliss slathered on top of that. Now imagine adding a thin layer of cool whip to your already heavenly pie. Now toss on some chopped-up peanut butter cups. Yes! You have just created the perfect way to celebrate National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day in your mind. Now, it’s time to bring that dream into reality!
This pie is seriously so easy and so good! I was able to put this together in about twenty minutes. You can’t really mess it up. It’s super easy. Don’t let those lovely layers lead you into believing this one is complicated. It’s not. You don’t even need an oven to make a perfect Chocolate Peanut Butter Layer Pie!

What You Will Need To Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Layer Pie
For The Crust
- Pre-made Oreo Pie Crust
For The Peanut Butter Layer
- 4 oz Softened Cream Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/8 cup Milk
- 3/4 Cups Cool Whip
For The Chocolate Layer
- 1 Box Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
- 1 1/4 cups Milk
For The Topping
- 1 Cup Cool Whip
- Mini Reeses Peanut Butter Cups – Chopped
How To Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Layer Pie
Step One – Peanut Butter Layer
Add softened cream cheese, peanut butter, and milk to mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. Slowly add the powdered sugar and stir with a spoon until well combined. Fold in cool whip. Spread evenly on the bottom of the Oreo Crust. Place in freezer and move on to Step Two.
Step Two – The Chocolate Layer
Pour Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix and Milk into a bowl. Beat for two minutes. Place pudding in the refrigerator and move on to Step Three.
Step Three – The Topping
Take out eight to ten of the mini Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and roughly chop them up. Set aside.
Step Four – Put It All Together
Remove your pie from the freezer and get your pudding from the fridge. Spoon the pudding over the peanut butter layer and smooth it out evenly. Carefully, spread your cool whip over that layer. Finally, add your crumbled peanut butter cups. Wa La! You have your pie!
The guys love this pie and I love that it is so easy. I’m a big fan of desserts you don’t have to bake. Also, we did make this to celebrate National Peanut Butter Lovers Day and we believe this pie appropriately honors this very special holiday. So much so that we actually made two, so we had one to share. Holidays are best when they inspire us to give of ourselves. And when you are giving chocolate peanut butter layer pie, you are making people happy! Who wouldn’t love this National Holiday? Geez!
