Fall Brown Bag Tree Project
Simple home school art project….
Looking for a super easy, fun fall art project? I was. I found just the thing and luckily had all the supplies already. Chances are, you do too.
All credit and inspiration come from Pikadilly Charm. Please check out her blog post with complete directions on the project here.
You will need:
- 1 Paper Bag
- Several leaves cut out of construction paper
You will want to cut several “branches” as shown above. Cut almost all the way to the crease.
Then you want to stand up your bag and twist a trunk out. Then twist each section into branches.
OK, now we have something that is resembling a tree. Go ahead and glue two or three of your leaves onto each branch and some to the base.
Adorable! We placed ours on the mantel with other fall décor and they have been a hit with visitors. We love simple projects like this one and we hope you will enjoy it too!
Here are a few Fall worksheets you can include with this project.
At this link you will find several worksheets but we used number one.
And here you can find a crossword puzzle.
For the record, this was the simplest of our Fall Art Projects. We have spray painted leaf covered canvases and created entire forests on paper also. I will try to share those in the future as well.
What are your favorite fall projects? Please feel free to inspire in the comments below.
God bless 🙂
