The spring edition of Homeschool Life Magazine has been released! I was happy to include a piece called “Teaching Your Kids Not to Quit“. In the article, we discuss goal-setting, teaching failures as learning opportunities, growth mindset, the importance of recognizing and praising progress, as well as leading by example. In my experience, these values are an essential part of every education and a joy to include in every homeschool curriculum. One with far-reaching rewards.

The Homeschool Life Magazines’ mission is to publish articles that will empower, enrich, and encourage homeschool families.
A few of the many homeschool topics covered in the spring issue are:
- “Learning Styles: The Auditory Learner”
- “Help! How Do I Homeschool on a Budget?”
- “Learning in Everyday Life”
- “Finding Strength in Your Child’s Weakness”
- “Preparing a High School Transcript”
- “Raising Children in Christ-like Character: Kindness”
- “Project Passport: The Middle Ages”
- “Organizing the Schoolroom”
- “Homeschooling in the Great Outdoors”
- “Teaching Your Kids Not to Quit”
So many of these articles were helpful to me personally but I was especially happy to read the article about preparing a high school transcript as this was on my to-do list. I have kept good academic records for every year of our homeschool and built a full portfolio for extra curriculum as well as collected letters of recommendations for T but I wasn’t sure how to put together his transcript. I’ve got it now thanks to this informative article.
As homeschool families, we know that life is about learning and that there is always more to learn. Resources like The Homeschool Life Magazine assist us on our homeschool journey and encourage us to make the most of it.
