How To Paint This Tree and Moon In Homeschool Art Class
Join Us For Painting 101 In Our Homeschool
T and I both love Homeschool Art Class. This is one of the subjects we always do together. Art relaxes both of us. With the many options available online we rarely pay for an art class, excluding our visits to the local pottery place. Today, we decided to do this painting of a cherry tree that looks as though it’s holding the moon. We found this artist and the instructional video on YouTube.

Supplies You Need For Cherry Tree and Moon Homeschool Art Class

- Paint
- Paintbrushes
- Canvas or Art Pad
- Water Cups
- Paper towels
- Something To Place Behind Paper (We use cardboard pieces or plastic)
- A few Q-Tips (you can use a brush but these make the flowers so easy)
- You may want chalk
- Laptop with access to YouTube
- 35 to 45 minutes
- Optional: Hairdryer to speed up the drying process.

We like to save the best for last so this was the project that ended our homeschool day. We both were looking forward to it all day and it turned out to be even better than we had hoped.

We set aside forty-five minutes for this class. The video was 33 minutes but we had to pause it to keep up. We both loved the artist and her creative vocabulary. The Art Sherpa is a great choice for a homeschool Art Class.

We enjoyed every moment of this lesson. T took some creative liberties which I always encourage.
One tip I have is to use a Q-Tip to make the little circles for your cherry blossoms. It’s super simple and they come out very clean.

At the end of Homeschool Art Class today we had these beautiful pictures done and our fridge was looking awesome!

We had a lot of fun with this lesson and we would recommend to all of you. Homeschool Art Class is one of our favorite parts of homeschooling. It’s peaceful, and relaxing, and gives us a chance to be creative together.
