Instant Pot Soup Recipes You’ll Want To Try Now
The Best Instant Pot Soup Recipes For Cold Winters Nights
It’s cold and dreary and I am all about some instant pot soup recipes! Arctic Air is headed our way and that means soup season is on! I would eat soup every single day if the guys would have it. Being born and raised in Maine, I learned early how to appreciate a really good bowl of soup after a really cold day of sledding or skating or even just walking home from school.
The warmth of the bowl cupped in your frozen little fingers, the delectable smells that filled the whole house with comfort, and the taste of a really great soup with crackers all crushed up over the top; it has the best way of warming you from the inside out. That’s hard to beat.

So today for Day Twelve of My Thirty Days of Gratitude Challenge I am calling out Soup Season, or more specifically, Instant Pot Soup Recipes!
Pressure Cooker Beef Vegetable Soup From TheFoodieEats
So this is crazy good y’all! I follow the recipe exactly with one exception. I always add 1/8 cup of red wine after browning the meat to deglaze. You can get crazy with your veggie choices too. You do you. You can’t go wrong with this instant pot soup recipe.
I love to make a ham. I prefer it far above any bird you could fix. And I also love leftovers. This recipe is a great option to use some of that wonderful leftover ham. I add garlic to mine but other than that, this recipe is amazing as is!
Wild Rice Soup is my very favorite. I adore it. And I have made a lot of versions of it. But THIS! This is the one to fix your family. Tip- do not use a wild rice mix. Straight up wild rice. I’ve also made this with Amond Milk as a sub and yes! So good!
So this version includes chicken and she serves it up in a bread bowl. The only thing better than soup is soup served in a bread bowl. Originally I wasn’t sure about the cream cheese thing but it ended up being amazing. My only adaptation to this recipe is that I do add mushrooms.
This is so very good! All three of us love a bowl of good loaded potato soup and this is my go-to recipe. The only alterations I make are first I add a dash (or two) of garlic salt and a dash (or two) of onion powder. Then, when the soup is done I scoop out a ladle full of the potatoes and throw them in the food processor and then return them to the soup. It makes the soup extra velvety and thick. Wonderful!
So, ginger in my chicken noodle soup sounded a bit odd. And dill too? But curiosity got the best of me and this is now our favorite Chicken Noodle Soup. So good! I never want chicken noodle soup without ginger ever again. I’m hooked. I do add my typical dash (or two) or garlic salt and onion powder to the chicken after it has been cooked, before returning it to the pot but that’s just a preference thing. You need to try this one. It can be done with a few chicken breasts if the whole chicken idea seems overwhelming.
This soup has just the right amount of heat, and I’m not talking temperature. I can’t take a lot of heat but I like a little kick and this recipe is dead on.
Mr. Wonderful loves a beef barley soup and I tried a few recipes in the Instant Pot before finding this one. We love it. I do brown the meat first and add a bit of red wine to it when I fix it but other than that I just follow the recipe. So good!
Ready for some soup? I know I am. Pair it with a loaf of good crusty bread and a crisp salad and you have the perfect winter meal. Did I include your favorite soup? If so, tell me which one you love best and if not, share yours in the comments section below. I am always looking for something new to try. Stay warm my friends and eat well!
