Our Week In Pictures

Our Week In Pictures

We had an amazing week! Our homeschool studies stayed on topic. We are reading HOOT by Carl Hiaasen (check out our homeschool library picks for more book suggestions) and T is really enjoying his geography and history lessons.

DoubleRainbow

We should have known it was going to be awesome when we saw this double rainbow at the very start of the week!

Scooter

The weather was perfect all week!  T played on his scooter and we took several walks…

BikeRideBridge

And some bike rides to our favorite bridge. We saw lots of fish and crawdads and even a snake. Could have done without the water snake 🙁

Bonfire1

We had a family bonfire with s’mores and all!  It was wonderful!

Abandoned

We discovered this abandoned barn while walking. It’s almost swallowed by the trees.

Mantel

We decorated the mantel and it was officially October!

SuperChevyShow

We went to the Bristol Motor Speedway for the Super Chevy Show and saw tons of cars including jet cars and Pro Mods.

SuperChevyShowStandingCar

Some of them went down the whole track on just two tires.

SuperChevyShowProMod

And some went so fast they seemed to disappear.

This week has been a wonderful start to Fall and we are excited to do more of the things on our Fall Bucket List.  Starting tomorrow when we go to the Apple Festival!  Hope everyone else has a wonderful week!  Did you have a favorite moment?  Please share below!  Don’t be shy, we love to hear from you!
