Out and About Tri-Cities December 2017
Family-Friendly Events in the Tri-Cities and Just Beyond
As I sit here typing this my Christmas tree is twinkling in the corner. Thanksgiving memories are fresh and sweet in my mind. November was exceptional. T and I had a lot of opportunities to serve in our community this month and they stand out as the highlights of our November. We helped pack food boxes at Second Harvest. We helped deliver eighty Thanksgiving meals made by TLC to our local neighbors. We finished our Shoebox and sent it off to make someone’s Christmas a little sweeter. We wrote our Christmas cards out to the troops and sent them on their way. This month had been full of treasures. We also took a beautiful hike up Roan Mountain while the leaves were all ablaze and the weather was lovely. T continues to volunteer at Small Miracles and we get see actual miracles taking place there every week. I am heading lighthearted into December feeling blessed and grateful! There is so much happening! Grab your calendar and schedule some family fun together before this year is behind us!
